Aegina, Greece! We're here!

Today has been the first day of our journey and an exhausting one at that! After a slight delay and a 12 hour flight we found ourselves at Athens port. Now anyone who has been to Athens knows that it is not the friendliest or most scenic of cities. After an hour shuttle ride we were literally dropped off in the middle of a port with no clue where to go, no one within sight, and zero signs in english!

After finding a nice man who saw our clueless expressions we realized we were on the opposite side of the port! (uh oh). This led to a free bus ride and finally we arrived at the correct port, recieved our ferry tickets and got harassed by a million street merchants. After a quick nap on the ferry (back home it was the middle of the night) we arrived at scenic Aegina Island! All the stress of travel was gone and our tiny hotel is adorable! Looking forward to getting to explore Aegina town and the island tomorrow!
